We will be playing the Duluth Homegrown Music Festival on Friday, May 1st. We'll be at R.T. Quinlan's again, around 11pm. Here's what the show guide has to say about us:
"Straddling an unlikely boundary between metal and new-wave synth-pop, The Surfactants aren't quite like and band playing Homegrown. Verily, they are the most on time band in the festival, being that they play along with drummer Zac Bentz's pre-programed synths. This takes serious talent. Bassist Eric Anderson, guitarist Brett Molitor and singer Greg Cougar Conley have many years of experience between them, and they have honed it in to a finely tuned weapon of Devo-like sonic goodness that makes the military-industrial complex froth at the mouth in awe at what can happen when such skill is commanded so well."
Make sure to check out the entire schedule here. See you there!
