yeah, i pretty much thought brilliance was 'eat it' when i was a kid. weird al was also into songcraft in a weird way. like he would do funny songs that were in the style of some band (like 'dare to be stupid' apes devo) but they were an original composition. Also, his parodies were spot-on musical replications.
